Rodrigo quiere dejar las drogas por enésima vez, pero esta vez lo hará distinto: viajará al norte del país acompañado de su hermana, quien a su vez documentará su proceso. Un retrato íntimo que muestra que para encontrar el norte no hay mejor brújula que mirarnos a través de la gente que queremos.

Rodrigo wants to quit drugs for the umpteenth time, but now he’ll try something different: he’ll travel to the north of the country accompanied by his sister who will document his process. An intimate portrait that confirms that the best compass to find north is to see ourselves through the eyes of the ones we love.

SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS

Lorenzo Vidal, jefe y fundador de una juguetería en Puebla, sufre dolores intensos en el estómago que los doctores no logran identificar su origen. Tras varios estudios realizados y poco antes de fallecer, Lorenzo descubre que la causa de su enfermedad es por envenenamiento. 18 años después, su nieto confronta a su familia para desenterrar los secretos que yacen sepultados ante la misteriosa muerte de su abuelo.

Lorenzo Vidal, the patriarch and founder of a toy store in Puebla, suffers from intense pain in his stomach that doctors cannot identify its origin. Finally, after several studies and shortly before his death, Lorenzo discovers that the cause of his illness is poisoning. Eighteen years later, his grandson confronts his family to unearth the secrets buried in his grandfather's mysterious death.

En los años 70, los habitantes de un pequeño pueblo de Chihuahua hicieron cine. Por casi 50 años las películas permanecieron ocultas hasta que una de ellas fue restaurada. En las vísperas de la función, algunos de los actores y colaboradores comparten de qué manera les marcó el haber participado en ellas y como a pesar del olvido en el que estaban esas películas, ellos atesoran los recuerdos de haber participado en ellas.

On the premiere’s eve of a film made in the 70s by the people of Rosales Chihuahua, the cast and crew share their memories by staging the process of creating the movie they made 50 years ago.
